DV Catena Chardonnay-Chardonnay

WINE DESCRIPTION

Both vineyards enjoy warm, sunny days and cold nights, allowing for perfect ripeness and balance.

Of an intense golden yellow colour with light greenish hues, the nose is complex and elegant, displaying ripe tropical fruit aromas from La Pirámide Vineyard, such as pineapple and peach, laced with fresh citrus and minerality from Domingo Vineyard. The mouthfeel is sweet and unctuous, packed with ripe fruit. Finishes long and lingering with fresh, crisp acidity.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Varietal: 100% Chardonnay

Alcohol: 13.7%

Fermentation: In stainless-steel tanks. Selected yeast. Max. Ferm.Temp. 22 ºC, for 23 days. 50% malolactic fermentation

Aging: 6 months in French oak and stainless-steel tanks. Aged on its lees. Once a week battonage

Total Acidity: 5.63 grams/liter

pH: 3.35
